You say it's your birthday...
Aug. 22nd, 2003 07:32 amWoohoo! It's my birthday, and it's Friday, and it's cloudy. Thank you, weather gods. (Don't feel bad if you didn't know or remember. I didn't put the date on my userinfo, and I don't stand much on these Hallmark holidays anyhow.)
However, what I want to know is: what would you all get me, if money and influence were no object? Yes yes, I know, you'd fly me to New Zealand where the four hobbit actors and Orlando Bloom, in costume, would each give me a long kiss and a shoulder massage, and would each then tell the press that I'm the best kisser they ever encountered and that I'm also a fabulous writer who deserves widespread mass-market publication. BUT, getting beyond that, what else would you give me?
Be creative here. Think large. Gift me British Columbia and Alberta tied together in a nice purple ribbon, for instance. Or get on the web and find me a good-looking Gothic castle with a dungeon. Or the world's largest cruise ship, stocked with expensive chocolate in cold storage. You get the idea.
That should break up the monotony of the day a little. Thank you. Over and out.
