And for the many Jewish folk on my list, a very happy Chanukah! I have no particular familial ties to Judaism, but have long had ties of friendship and respect. Also, yesterday I heard a podcast story about Aaron Lansky, the man who rescued and collected 1.5 million books written in Yiddish, and it warmed my linguist/librarian-wanna-be heart. Apparently he has a book about the whole experience.

Must get back to watching old Buffy episodes.

It does use the "friends" list as well. For example, it offered me "Four lemonlyes". Very silly - I mean, I barely know what to do with *one* lemonlye. What would I do with four? Keep some as backups in case of a power outage? ;-)
