You know, I believe it's true what they say:
If it doesn't have snow on it, or hasn't erupted lately, then it doesn't count as a mountain.
Not that you were worried, but we in Seattle are well out of harm's way of Mt. St. Helens, which is a couple hundred miles to the southeast. Northwesterners mostly regard St. Helens with fondness and good cheer: "Aww, that's our little uppity volcano. Oooh! Cool steam plume! Do another one!"
Yeah. Volcanoes basically are cool. Or maybe I just think so because of Mt. Doom.
