Scholarly pursuit of the weekend: Frodo as Paglia's beautiful boy

If you don't read my other journal, but do have interest in sexual personae like Camille Paglia wrote about, then you might want to see today's entry in which I decide that Elijah Wood's Frodo is a Western-classical "beautiful boy."

I do remember that, and was thinking of it when typing that post. :) Something about the description of Orlando Bloom as a smooth, hairless, pretty boy does stick in the mind. Hee.
