Sep. 5th, 2002 09:20 pmJust seeing how the new icon looks.
You artsy people inspired me to try a Frolijah pic. May I say that it's a bitch to get that kid's eyes and lips just right. (Note to others who are trying to draw him: it didn't look right till I added the deep shadows under and around his eyes. Maybe he needs sleep. Distinctive, in any case.)

Maybe he wears eyeshadow.
And just for the record, I did NOT just say that. ;)

In any case, thanks. :)
Oh, and while I like pretty much every last person and thing in the film, I did think, upon seeing it again recently, that they portrayed Frodo as rather too delicate (compared to book-Frodo). Did he have to fall down *quite* so much?
However, the Two Towers trailer gives me hope--he looks more weather-beaten, and that close-up snarl when he threatens someone with Sting (taming Smeagol perhaps) is a good sign. Perhaps he starts to become the tougher book-Frodo we all know and love.
