It wasn't a bitching-out in their post, really, but a pointing out of my own post...which in turn led to their friends making snide, condescending remarks about me in the comments. These are, of course, people who don't know me and were basing their whole opinion of me on that one post, and maybe a couple others in immediate view. I'm a closed-minded asinine clueless conservative; you know the drill. Yay! Heh.

I am a very strong democrat and so are a lot of my friends and most of the republicans I have gotten into contact with don't really seem to have the talent that you do for phrasing your beliefs eloquently. I really do enjoy reading what you have to say no matter how much I may disagree. It's only through understanding the other side/point of view that we can change anything.

Well, on some tests, I end up being placed dead-center, with only the faintest rightward lean; or libertarian. At the end of weary days of debates, I usually wind up thinking that Democrats and Republicans are hardly that different anyway, compared to, say, the differences between Americans and French.

I've actually seen trillium in the wild, a couple times. They grow in the Cascade mountains here, and you're not supposed to pick them. (Kind of rare or delicate or something.) Three petals; tri-llium. Easy to spot. :)
