Peter Pan!

mollyringleIt seems, much to my surprise, that there are other movies being released this December too. Who knew? In any case, one such is Peter Pan, a live action version, from Columbia Pictures (point being: NOT Disney, thank goodness), which looks wicked cool, to judge from the trailer. Go to their official site and watch! That's an order!
Maybe it'll turn out to be saccharine and lame, but at least in that preview it appears they've gone farther toward doing justice to the book - in all its bizarre, creepy, poignant glory - than any other film versions have so far. If they pull it off, it should make for a lovely palate cleanser between viewings of ROTK.
