Thinking about: How to rewrite the latest novel in progress so that something interesting actually happens early on; whether my friend from high school will answer my email (he's an interesting character...or should I say "she"? I think that illustrates the interesting part); reminding self not to forget to go back in to campus for a colloquium thing later this afternoon.
