A (nearly totally useless) time capsule found

So my mom dug this up in the grounds of our family beach house recently, buried in a teeny plastic lipstick-tube-like container. It would seem my sister Peg and I made a time capsule, which I do not remember doing at all.

I am left with many questions, such as:

a) Who is Camille?
b) What map? What envelope?
c) 13-year-old self, why didn't you say something actually interesting if you were going to the trouble of a time capsule?
d) No cash or treasure or anything? You cheapskate.

How fun, even if there was nothing your present-self is overly interested in! Our family did a time capsule about twenty years ago, but we didn't bury it. It's in my sister's attic.

Should still be fun to open someday! And in the attic it's probably less likely to decay away. :) I'm impressed this one survived, in the wet dirt.

Lol! I found a lame time capsule that I buried when I was maybe 8 or 9 (I must have read something or seen a TV show with the idea and thought it was cool) but I guess I didn't have a firm grasp on what a time capsule was actually for. Instead I just made a list of things I wanted and buried it. Maybe I got it confused with a magic lamp? Who knows. I wrote "cat" three times and "lasagna."
