So many of you out there are the creators, owners, or performers of fabulous goods or services, any of which would make excellent holiday gifts. I want more of the world to know about you, plus I want some good ideas for my own holiday shopping, so here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to give you this space for free advertising!

If you have anything you want to advertise that could potentially be given as a gift, tell us about it in the comments below. Keep in mind that good ad copy gets more click-throughs, so I advise keeping it to a brief, clear, fun paragraph, complete with handy link.

I'll start by (of course) reminding you of my books currently for sale:

The Ghost Downstairs, for anyone who likes moody ghost stories. (Purchase from the publisher, Amazon or an indie bookstore near you. Ebook or paperback.)

Summer Term, for the steamy-beach-read fans. (Purchase from the publisher, Amazon, or an indie bookstore near you. Ebook or paperback.)

What Scotland Taught Me, for snarky teen girls who require comeuppance, anyone who remembers the perils of being 18, or anyone who adores Edinburgh. (Ebook only; purchase from the publisher or Amazon.)

Now you! What are you selling? Tell us of your wares. Offer open for as long as this LiveJournal shall live, though readers will likely diminish the older this post gets.

I don't have any links (my baby girl Mary Louise 2.0--aka my laptop--just died and took all of my links with her). My contact info is aliciamsnavely@gmail.com. Putting "scarves" or the suchlike in the subject would help. My work runs between US $10-40, plus shipping and handling.

I'm cheap, but I'm friendly. ;)

From: (Anonymous)
Hi Molly, here is my little piece about my book From Spice to Eternity. I hope this is okay. Thanks so much for the offer.

From Spice to Eternity may seem to be at first glance, a Biblical cookbook. Any novice in the kitchen or acclaimed heathen could benefit from reading the spice-filled book.
One might also expect a purely Jamaican collection of delightful dishes from the Caribbean island where the writer Yvonne Pat Wright was born and reared, however, throughout the 191 pages Wright not only samples Jamaican cuisines but provides universal flavourings The lasting value of this book is found in both aspects that it presents. The recipes will be sure to please and can be used time and time again. Likewise, the nuggets of truth contained in the book's well-crafted and inspirational stories can be a valued source of devotion truth each time that it is read.
A great coffee table book suitable as a gift for both male and female.

It is a saga of fear, faith, media misinformation, compassion, and sociology, with lessons for government policy makers, and offers a microcosm of what American society may be like in the future with limited resources.

Yet, the Company stands idly by while a deadly space-born virus hurled down to Earth during an apocalyptic meteor storm annihilates the human population above ground. Exiled to the Earth’s womb, humanity now faces the BPC-born threat of another race more powerful and genetically superior to the Homo Sapien. Humanity hangs in the balance with their defenders Benner, caught in the Demon’s Hole of the next generation Mindbender, and Miranda only just discovering who she really is in a gritty new world.

"From Zero to Christian in Just 35 Years," is an intimate, warts-and-all account of her journey to faith. One of the criticisms often leveled at "Church folk" is our tendency to wear our shiny happy people masks. That criticism is not entirely inaccurate, which is what makes Moore's book so refreshing. Her message is that God can heal the most painful wounds and that He is able to rescue us from even our very worst enemy--ourselves.
Women who have struggled with self-esteem issues or who have bought into the lie that their worth comes primarily through their sexuality will find hope in Moore's story of redemption. And anyone with pre-conceived notions of how "those Christians" talk and act will find a surprise or two. This is not your typical Christian book because Moore has not lived your typical life.

For starters, I confess to being a twenty-plus year Realtor, but when the real estate market tanked in 2008, I started killing people instead of selling houses. There are three books in the series; please let me tell you about the latest, Buying Murder:

Murder gets personal when human remains are found in the beach cottage that Realtor Regan McHenry buys. The murder victim has been hidden away for sixteen years, and although the authorities quickly discover his identity, the trail to his killer is cold after so many years.
Regan has sworn off playing amateur detective, but when it becomes clear the police have to focus on more pressing crimes, she has to break her promise. As her friend police ombudsman Dave Everett says, “Your house, Regan, your murder.”

Read the book beginnings and see if you like them at http://www.goodreadmysteries.com The books are cozy-style mysteries so there's even a recipe you can pick up for free at the website.

Here's Amazon's review:

At a time when most people have grown weary of the war between the states, two young children are desperate to find their way to the battlefields. Jeremy DeGroot wants nothing more than to join a troop as a drummer boy. For Dulcie, a runaway slave, freedom means she must head directly toward the fighting in the hopes that she'll become "contraband," that is, property of the Union troops. Both Jeremy and Dulcie find a place with the 107th New York Volunteer Regiment and even start to forge a friendship. But all that is threatened when they keep crossing paths with the mysterious Charlie, a young Confederate soldier, who may look like the enemy but feels more like a friend.
