I'm working out the 'Dracula' lines and will assign them soon. If you want in at the last minute, I can probably still find you one--just volunteer.

In the meantime, for your amusement and edification, check out [livejournal.com profile] teenybuffalo's Draculas I have loved, a quick photographic rundown of the many Draculas throughout film history. She has given them updated titles, such as "Riverboat Gambler Dracula" and "Retro Beatnik Dracula." See if your favorite Dracula is there, and let her know if she missed him!

No problem--thanks for the chuckles! Hope I do a half-decent job editing the Dracula lines.

Hmm, I think I can find one more...here, these lines can be yours:

I am growing weaker, and the night is
coming on. If he can look me in the face again, I may not
 have time to act.

Hmm, I do have a good bit that goes right at the start. (I just keep expanding the excerpt as people hop on board.) It's a bit long for one person, possibly, so if you have an extra volunteer around to take half of it, that would be especially great! Or do the whole thing if you like. Anyway, here it is...

On 17 July, yesterday, one of the men, Olgaren, came to my cabin,
and in an awestruck way confided to me that he thought there was a strange man aboard the ship. He said that in his watch he had been sheltering behind the deckhouse, as there was a rain storm, when he saw a tall, thin man, who was not like any of the crew, come up the companionway, and go along the deck forward and disappear.
