Glad you enjoyed that. :) I liked the first Twilight book pretty well, but the farther I get, the more Edward's obsessive stalker qualities are bothering me. (And Bella's worship of him despite said qualities.) But I'll keep reading to see what happens, I guess...

Heh, sure...I might be a little busy, is all. ;) Also, I brought the Touch to my appointment today, and though it finds the hospital's wifi, none of the internet apps actually can do anything there. So, darn. :)

Edward Glitterhands - *cackles*. Oh, that's perfect. They really did play up the creepy stalker tendencies in the film. I actually admire RPattz for noticing and utilizing that, rather than playing Edward as, well, not a creepy stalker. (I liked Edward in the first book, but the farther I read, the more he reminds me of my high school ex-boyfriend, who was equally obsessive and jealous, though admittedly without the excuse of mortal supernatural dangers.)

I noticed the color difference too. Guess they wanted Forks' natural lighting to look foresty and rainy, whereas Sunnydale is sunny.

I literally LOL'ed. And then sent the link to my friend who's been saying for months "Don't you just wish Buffy would STAKE Edward Cullen already??" And then made Josh watch it.

That is fantastic. And yeah, Buffy would SOOO not put up with Edward's creepy stalker behavior. My favorite was "get out before I throw you out on your head" ... and then of course she did. *giggles*

And pregnancy in summer bites the big one. Been there, done that, TWICE even.

Glad you liked it too. :D Isn't it striking how much snappier the Buffy dialogue is? She's all, "I'm the Slayer. Slay-er? Chosen One? Look it up!" and he says mostly, "I...uh...*angsty blinking*" (I actually like RPattz, but the material was only so much to work with.)

I can't really complain about the weather so far, thankfully. It's barely ever topped 75 in the last month, this being Seattle. Well, we had a 90-ish heat wave for about 3 days, but that's been all so far. I am so, so grateful I didn't get pregnant while living in central California!
