"There's nothing about this haircut that suggests the name 'Bob' to me." - Steve

I was growing my hair out, but...yeah, that never lasts. A "layered bob," as my hairdresser calls it, is much easier. And perkier!

Very cute! That's the kinda hairstyle I've been going with for a while now. Very simple to manage. :)

Oh, and also, that kid of yours is getting entirely too big. Tell him to stop it! ♥

Thanks! Women with manageable haircuts, unite. :D

I know; he's getting tall and heavy. Yet still he insists on napping while lying on top of me. Ooof.

I do like the dumb-and-sexy facial expression he adopted for this photo, though. ;)

Frankly, I don't care what you do to your hair as long as you keep posting pictures of yourself. :)

Aw, you're the best. ;) But surely there'd be slightly less attraction if I shaved my head...

Hey, a few minutes with Photoshop should be enough to test that theory... ;-)

True. You could use Natalie Portman in her bald phase as a template.

Note to self: Using images.google.com to find bald Natalie Portman templatess leads me to the conclusion that there are people with Photoshop who have a lot of free time on their hands.

Umm . . . Remember Persis Khambatta in the first Star Trek movie? :)

I cut my hair awhile back into a "layered bob" as well. Unfortunately, my hair grows far too quickly and the style has flown south for the now. After vacation I'll get it cut again (in June we're off to a house on Hatteras Island so I'll keep it longish enough to pull back until then).

Your hair, though, is lovely. I wish I had naturally wavy hair.
Z. is getting so big. Colin, by the way, has two Arthur books for him, if he'd like them.

Thanks! Z would love the books. He ought to recognize Arthur from at least the one much-read lift-the-flap book we have from that show.

Straight hair is underrated. Mine wants to defy gravity, which is fun if cut in a style that allows for that. But I tried short bangs a couple months ago, and they simply would not lie flat. Looked absurd, always puffing up. So, back to the lengths and the layers they go...

Love the cut! Looks very cute and not Mom Hair-ish. Your boy is not a baby anymore! When did this happen??

I know, he's actually a "small child" now! It's crazy.

And thank you ever so much for the "not Mom Hair-ish" comment. It means a good deal to me. :D

I like! Mine's a bob, too, but my hair is freakishly straight, so it comes out looking quite different. I like your wavy bob!

Thanks! The bob, it never goes out of style. And hey, many are the times I've wished for the smooth, shiny locks of the straight-haired women. My waves go to fuzz all too readily.

You look cute. The good kind of cute.

Thank you! I always take "cute" as a compliment now. It simplifies life not to wonder what they *really* meant.

I wanted my bangs to lie smooth and flat like Louise's, but they prefer to fluff upward. All I can do is compromise with styling products.
