No one prepared me for how funny babies could be.

Taken on the deck of a Washington State Ferry.

Yeah, it's probably time to cut his hair again.

Hee, that's a fab pic! Only babies can look so intently serious. He does look like a bit of a superhero - hair flying back, steely gaze, and that fleece could almost be a cape!

Ordinarily he's quite non-serious. Frivolous, even. Which is why it's an especially funny picture, to us. :)

A-dorable baby

SuperBaby! SuperAdorableBaby, even.

Yes, babies are funny. It gets even better when they start talking.

Can't wait for the silly spoken stuff. I love the examples from your girls, and their Remarks From the Land of Random.

Hee! Very Hornblower-esque. I see he's practicing his level-eyed, beat-to-quarters-Mr.-Pullings-if-you-please look. Excellent.

Quite so, quite so. Hm, I need to read that Master & Commander book already, and get such phrases into my working lexicon.

Arrr! Man, and it's almost Talk Like a Pirate Day, too. I should go back to the ferry that day and hand out eye patches. :)

As long as he doesn't start getting mistaken left and right for a girl, I suppose we're good. :)

How old is Z. now? Hard to believe that C. will be 2 months old on Sept. 15. They really do grow up quickly.

Z is 7 months and a bit, and preparing to crawl or climb or whatever mode of locomotion he chooses to start with. All hands on deck! Yeah, the time is going way faster than it did during pregnancy, huh?
