Friday the 13th: ...and productivity will go down...down!...DOWN!

So far I am in a much better mood this morning than I was yesterday, confirming my own personal experience that Thursday the 12th tends to be worse than Friday the 13th. (And Saturday the 14th? Piece o' cake.)

A fitting piece of news for today, posted a while back by tdj: 616 is the new 666. Looks like if you really get into the earliest fragments of the Book of Revelation, the number might well have been 616. Transliteration error. This cracks me up. Oops, your scary tattoos aren't evil after all! Remember "Goth Talk" on Saturday Night Live? I can imagine them discussing it--
"What make you of this news, Azrael?"
"Utter tragedy. I spent 25 dollars to get the 666 prefix on my cell phone number."

Anyway, to fit the ee-ville reputation of today, I popped The Cure's gloriously dark "Pornography" album into the car stereo for the commute. Everyone sing along now: "It doesn't matter if we all die..." Also dabbed on a Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab sample scent: Dracul, from the Diabolus collection. Described as "Black musk, tobacco, fir, balsam of peru, cumin, bitter clove, crushed mint, and orange blossom." Comes across as more like Dracu-Cola on me, but at least it's a woodsy/musky cola, so therefore still pleasing.
