For anyone feeling disillusioned with work, school, or life in general, I highly recommend going over to Demotivators.com (a.k.a. "Despair Inc.") for some chuckles and inspiration.

Check out their "Individual Designs." You can get posters (or coffee mugs, or calendars, etc.) with slogans such as:

Hard work pays off after time, but laziness always pays off now.
If you’re not a part of the solution, there’s good money to be made in prolonging the problem.
The only consistent feature of all your dissatisfying relationships is you.
The downside of being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume you're pretentious.

And, perhaps my favorite:
You aren't being paid to believe in the power of your dreams.

Heheheh. I think I need that on my cubicle wall.

Hee, those are hilarious. I love the way they can almost pass for those dippy inspirational posters that make all right-thinking people want to puke. Parody at its finest, directed at a cultural phenomenon that's just begging for it.

Exactly - if you didn't look closely, they would seem to be the usual dippy fare, going by the layout. I could take this time to sigh over the cynicism so rampant out there, but...who are we kidding; that stuff really was asking for it. :D
