mollyringleSince I'm bored, I'm participating in this meme. (OK, etymology darlings, do tell me where the word "meme" came from. I need to know these things.)
A - Act your age? Not as much as I should.
B - Born on what day of the week? Not sure. Friday, I think.
C - Chore you hate? Scrubbing the shower.
D - Dad's name? John.
E - Essential makeup item? Eyelash curler. That's not really "makeup," though. Eyeliner, then.
F - Favorite actor? I don't really have a favorite, but I will linger when any LotR actor appears onscreen these days.
G - Gold or silver? Gold.
H - Hometown? Corvallis, Oregon
I - Instruments you play? Flute and piano.
J - Job title? Don't actually have one at the moment, unless you count "writer." I was a teaching assistant till the other week.
K - Kids? I don't have any, but I'd like to someday. 2 or 3 maybe.
L - Living arrangements? Duplex, with husband.
M - Mum's name? Judy.
N - Number of people you've slept with? Nosy, aren't they? (One, though. Depending on your definition...)
O - Overnight hospital stays? None.
P - Phobia? Slight lingering fear of lightning, from childhood. Earthquakes. Public humiliation.
Q - Quote you like? Heh. I have a collection of several hundred. Umm..."If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning." - Catherine Aird
R - Religious affiliation? Kind of default-Christian.
S - Siblings? 3 sisters: 2 older, 1 younger.
T - Time you wake up? This term, about 9:30. Booyah!
U - Unique habit? When eating M&M's or Skittles or other such things, I tend to arrange them in rows according to color. And then eat from the group that has the most pieces, so that all colors have roughly the same number of pieces. And then eat one from each group, systematically, to keep this equilibrium as close as possible even as the numbers dwindle. Scary, huh?
V - Vegetables you refuse to eat? Raw onions. Mushrooms.
W - Worst habit? Impatience/impulsiveness.
X - X-rays you've had? Teeth lots of times; hip once.
Y - Yummy food you make? Dark chocolate truffles.
Z - Zodiac Sign? Leo.
Btw, I'm compiling the language-usage data and will probably post results tomorrow. Thank you to all who participated! And if you still want to participate, go ahead.
